About the General Assembly
The General Assembly is the Maldivian Red Crescent (MRC)'s supreme decision-making authority and it has the right to steer all activities of MRC. In accordance to MRC Statutes Clause 7 - The General Assembly of must be held before the end of April every other year.
The 13th General Assembly will be held from 25th - 26th April 2025 and will bring together 46 members across 06 MRC Units and members of the governing board.

- Endorsement of Statutory Documents of Assembly
- Endorsement and approval of Annual Report, Work plan and budget
- Endorsement of statutory amendments
- Election of Governing Board and Complaints Committee

Detailed program for the 13th General Assembly
First Session
Registration of all attendees and formal introduction of delegates representing different Units.
Presentation highlighting the seven fundamental principles that guide the work of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
Inaugural speech by Mrs. Rasheeda Ali, Interim President of Maldivian Red Crescent.
Formal adoption of the agenda for the 13th General Assembly.
Adoption of the minutes from the 12th General Assembly held in 2023.
Presentation of the Governing Board Report, highlighting key achievements and challenges.
Presentation of the National Youth Council Report, focusing on youth-related initiatives.
Presentation of the Finance Commission Report, detailing the financial status of the organization.
Appointment of an external auditor for the period of 2025-2026.
Presentation and adoption of the audit report for 2023-2024.
Presentation and adoption of the annual report for 2023-2024.
Presentation and adoption of the annual plan and budget for 2025-2026.
